Birds of winter – WyoFile

Wyoming’s winter landscape may perhaps appear devoid of lifestyle. But look closer and you’re certain to see the flutter of wings.

Birds are ubiquitous through the chilly months, browsing backyard feeders, looking for prey, chattering in bushes, fluffing their feathers to retain heat and even dipping into frigid waters.

Some were being chronicled in the backcountry, other people in household backyards. All are proof that birds can persevere via snow, ice and biting chilly.
