Suspect charged with animal cruelty as dog freezes

A gentleman whose malnourished dog’s human body was discovered frozen this week has been billed with aggravated animal cruelty.
A number of surviving canine belonging to Marcelino L. Carrera experienced not been fed and had been taken to an animal shelter, Officer Matt Sharp of the Shelbyville Law enforcement Division explained in his report.
Officer Brad Evans was performing a welfare look at at Carrera’s Hen Road residence Thursday and found the doggy dead in its enclosure. The dog was “covered with snow and ice,” Evans said.
Carrera told Sharp he experienced not fed the puppies in numerous times owing to health issues.
“I did not observe any meals within of the foods bowls supplied for the animals and all of the h2o bowls were being iced about,” Sharp mentioned. “The deceased canine was really malnourished and its hip and rib bones could be clearly recognized by sight.”
Carrera posted $2,500 bond at Bedford County Jail.
Drug cost
Cannabis was confiscated from a man stopped by a Bedford County deputy for owning an unregistered license plate in a motor vehicle with no rear bumper Tuesday night.
Mark Venegas had a cannabis bud and two blunts in the ash tray, marijuana stems in a door, a box containing scales and marijuana in the console and “shake” all through the car, the report mentioned. A total of 3 grams of cannabis were being uncovered.
He was cited for uncomplicated possession, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving on a suspended license and inappropriate registration.
Targeted visitors cones taken
A man grabbed 12 website traffic cones from the parking large amount of McDonald’s, Madison Street, early Tuesday, according to Shelbyville police.
The gentleman was a passenger in a truck at the travel-as a result of window.
Jail intake
The pursuing were billed because Tuesday by the Bedford County Sheriff’s Business office, Shelbyville Police Section, Tennessee Freeway Patrol or 17th Judicial District Drug Process Force. They are only charged guilt or innocence will be decided by the courts.
